                   Do Everything In Love

                      Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14

    
     I think this a perfect verse to meditate on when things in the world seem to be falling apart. When there is protests and a political divide that promotes division and hate. I have strong political views but when I started consuming the news more then the word of God it made me into a bitter person and a
seed of resentment started growing in my heart.  We are supposed to guard our heart so letting that seed weed pop in my heart was making me sick. Once I started consuming less of Political intake I starting feeling so happy. I will still vote and I will not change my political views but I am not letting it consume me. 
       Now I am able to see people differently that comes from a political stance than me and to not see them as the enemy but to see them as a person and to love them. 

      Since I was little I loved watching Miss America. Usually, when then they win the title of Miss America, they have a platform to represent. Whether that be helping with disabled people, orphans, or helping people with cancer. We have a platform when we take the title and Crown of the Daughter Of The King.  The Platform is JESUS.  We will now be promoting his Kingdom. That is our priority. We will be a representative of him. He will be our priority. 

       What is Love? What is Hate? The world has defined what these words mean.  The definition of hate has been turned into a Political word meaning anything that does not line up with your political views. Christians can now be accused of hate speech by just reciting scriptures. Love has been completely distorted as well. Let us look at what Love really is.

1 Corinthians 13 1
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

     As Daughters of the King, we should stand out in the world proclaiming his name. Politics or other Issues are not our platform and not our message. When people think of us, they should not think of some angry political person but they should think of a person that is filled with LOVE. When the world is going crazy let us not go with the flow of the world. We should have love illuminating out of us wherever we go. Not the mushy worldly distorted love of this world but a Real Love, A Supernatural Love that can only come from the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us go against the flow and stand out holding a banner of Love.

Leggings Leggings Leggings!!!        Where do I start? Leggings and Skinny Jeans started coming about around 10 years ago I think. I was in my early 30's and it seemed it was very trendy with the teens and college aged. I'm not for one to jump on the any trend wagon that comes around and I tried on maybe one Skinny Jeans back then and said "No Way". Not with my Pear Shaped,booty shakn body!  It's just not going to work! No problemo. Lots of people were still wearing other types of pants. One of my best friend's had the same body type as me and wore some body hugging boot cut jeans and always looked sexy. So that was my go to jeans for forever!          Ok maybe not forever! Year after year more people starting wearing them. Some how it didn't really bother me that much, I was very content in my boot leg world.  I am not super fashionable but like to look nice and somewhat like from this century.                               THE STRANGE WOMAN         I live in Wisconsin and the State Fair has just came to our town this week, There is also a circus show at the fair. Back in the 90's there was still Freak side shows at the circus. You could see the bearded lady, the lizard man and so on. Come with me as we enter into into this Freak side show to learn about the Strange Woman mentioned in the bible.      Come one! Come All! ladies and gentleman, boys and girls! We have seen how the Lobster boy juggles now we are on to see the Strange lady of the night! We walk through a dark corridor and there seems to area set up to look like a little house and a woman is sitting in there next to a vanity. She greets us warmly. Welcome!
