The Ghetto State of Mind

                     The Ghetto State of Mind  The Ghetto state of mind is an intriguing concept. In my hometown this mind set is on an upscale. It has always been there but in the last 5 years its grown rampantly like wildfire. The ghetto state of mind comes in all colors and nationalities. You can identify it by how someone carries themselves and by their words and actions and how they treat others.   Let us explore this unaesthetic mind set.  This mind set is at one of the lowest mindsets. In this mindset the person always has to be right, always gets their way. Putting their needs first is always on their agenda. Some examples are screaming and honking at an elderly to cross the street as opposed to a more noble mindset of going out of your way to help an elderly person cross the street. This mindset is also displayed by not letting people merge on the highway knowing that now they will now have to exit. In some states not merging is against the law but it is just human decency tha

 40 Day Daughter Of The King Devotional                               Day 5

Psalm 34:5

 Those who look to him are radiant;
    their faces are never covered with shame.

  When summer comes we make sure to wear our SPF to make sure our skin stays soft and youthful. We, women, like to wear masks and nourish our skin with lotions and potions. I just bought a clay mask yesterday, that I look forward to pampering myself with. These creams and lotions claim to make your skin soft and radiant.

   Want to know how to get that inner glow? No, it's not your high-quality Highlighter.  Knowing the King, Jesus Christ. When we become a Daughter of the King. Our inner beauty indwelling of the Holy Spirit shines out through us.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.  2 Corinthians 3:18

  God's glory coming from us, can there be anything more splendid and Beautiful then that?

We have no reason to walk in shame now. When we make the Lord of our life. He continues to sanctify us until we meet him. We do not have to have a downcast face, worrying about aging skin or imperfections or insecurities. We are representations of our King. No shame, Only Glory. If your crown is falling off your face, give it to God for he will straighten it for you. Give him your shame, insecurities and imperfections and stop obsessing over them. How all together Beautiful you are Daughter. Now, Walk in Glory Child with All Radiance. You are a Daughter of the King.

Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:3

If you are struggling to keep your Crown on because of insecurities, shortcomings, and doubts, watch this song.
