                     The Ghetto State of Mind  The Ghetto state of mind is an intriguing concept. In my hometown this mind set is on an upscale. It has always been there but in the last 5 years its grown rampantly like wildfire. The ghetto state of mind comes in all colors and nationalities. You can identify it by how someone carries themselves and by their words and actions and how they treat others.   Let us explore this unaesthetic mind set.  This mind set is at one of the lowest mindsets. In this mindset the person always has to be right, always gets their way. Putting their needs first is always on their agenda. Some examples are screaming and honking at an elderly to cross the street as opposed to a more noble mindset of going out of your way to help an elderly person cross the street. This mindset is also displayed by not letting people merge on the highway knowing that now they will now have to exit. In some states not merging is against the law but it is just human decency tha

  40 Day Daughter Of The King Devotional

                             Day 3

The LORD will hold you in his hand for all to see— a splendid crown in the hand of God. Isaiah 62:3

     The Lord is very pleased with how he made you. He takes a step back and looks at his creation. Wow, it is a masterpiece. Yes, you. God is not ashamed of you but proud of you. You are a walking spendor of the Lord. A God-fearing woman is worth more than rubies. Yes, more than diamonds. 

      


     This verse almost makes me think of a man that is proud of his beautiful girlfriend and wants to show her off. Let us be a good representation of our King. Let our beauty shine with fruits of the holy spirit. Self-Control, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Goodness, and Love. I struggle with Joy and I want to work on that so that my crown will be able to shine at its fullest.

       Take one of the fruits of the holy spirit that you are struggling with and do a quick bible study on it. These fruits are what makes are crowns struggle and what sets us apart from the world. 

Let your light shine before men, that. they may see your good works, and. glorify your Father which is in heaven. Mathew 5 15-16

   Let us shine our light before men like a beautiful shining crown. Let us shine with all of the gifts from the holy spirit that people will notice that illumination. Remember that Love triumphs over all other acts. Let us not be tied down in a spirit of religion and works that are like dirty rags. What changes hearts is Love.

1 Corinthians 13 New International Version (NIV)

 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

How all together lovely you are shining in your beauty. A woman that Fears the Lord. So wonderful that you are like a splendid crown in the very hand of God. Lift up your head and do not be sad. Leave your insecurities all behind. You are altogether beautiful. You are Loved, my daughter. Shine your beauty to the World.

Leggings Leggings Leggings!!!

Leggings Leggings Leggings!!!        Where do I start? Leggings and Skinny Jeans started coming about around 10 years ago I think. I was in my early 30's and it seemed it was very trendy with the teens and college aged. I'm not for one to jump on the any trend wagon that comes around and I tried on maybe one Skinny Jeans back then and said "No Way". Not with my Pear Shaped,booty shakn body!  It's just not going to work! No problemo. Lots of people were still wearing other types of pants. One of my best friend's had the same body type as me and wore some body hugging boot cut jeans and always looked sexy. So that was my go to jeans for forever!          Ok maybe not forever! Year after year more people starting wearing them. Some how it didn't really bother me that much, I was very content in my boot leg world.  I am not super fashionable but like to look nice and somewhat like from this century.                               THE STRANGE WOMAN         I live in Wisconsin and the State Fair has just came to our town this week, There is also a circus show at the fair. Back in the 90's there was still Freak side shows at the circus. You could see the bearded lady, the lizard man and so on. Come with me as we enter into into this Freak side show to learn about the Strange Woman mentioned in the bible.      Come one! Come All! ladies and gentleman, boys and girls! We have seen how the Lobster boy juggles now we are on to see the Strange lady of the night! We walk through a dark corridor and there seems to area set up to look like a little house and a woman is sitting in there next to a vanity. She greets us warmly. Welcome!
