The Ghetto State of Mind

The Ghetto State of Mind  The Ghetto state of mind is an intriguing concept. In my hometown this mind set is on an upscale. It has always been there but in the last 5 years its grown rampantly like wildfire. The ghetto state of mind comes in all colors and nationalities. You can identify it by how someone carries themselves and by their words and actions and how they treat others.   Let us explore this unaesthetic mind set.  This mind set is at one of the lowest mindsets. In this mindset the person always has to be right, always gets their way. Putting their needs first is always on their agenda. Some examples are screaming and honking at an elderly to cross the street as opposed to a more noble mindset of going out of your way to help an elderly person cross the street. This mindset is also displayed by not letting people merge on the highway knowing that now they will now have to exit. In some states not merging is against the law but it is just human decency tha

Top One Percent

                       Top One Percent

You always hear of people like Bernie Sanders talking about the top once percent in his speeches. The top once percent are demonized and they are the reason for all the problems in the world and a reason why life is so unfair according to socialists.  No one should have wealth and every one should be at the same level so the world can be fair they say.

When I hear Bernie talk it's like I am having Dejavu. I was hearing the same speech in the 2004,delivered by Hugo Chavez, when I went to Venezuela. Even before I visited there in 2004 I knew somewhat of Chavez's (the dictator of the country at the time) position. My mother, a native from Venezuela, would tell me the horrors of Chavez. Back in 2004, I would bring up how bad Chavez was to fellow Americans and they brushed off what I said and made Chavez into a hero saying he is helping the poor and trying to make the country "equal".  I would even see American news channels praising Chavez policies. It really confused me that he was getting praise from the American news and from American celebrities such as Sean Penn and yet at the same time I heard horrible stories from my family that lived there. The case made in favor for Chavez is that my family living there was considered middle class and that was not fair to very poor people living there so Chavez was a humanitarian in their eyes.

So when I went to visit their in 2005 to the beautiful island of Margarita I had my chance. I wanted to ask the local people what they thought of Chavez because I was very curious. Being young and ignorant, little did I know that my experiment of even talking about Chavez could have put me in prison. In America you can go to the streets and bash trump all you want, it is a different story in a country run by a dictator.

I can't completely remember all the people I asked in Venezuela what they thought about Hugo Chavez but the consensus was the same. They would tell me he is "Loco". They did not want to get into the reasons why they thought about it and cut of my question rather quickly. Maybe in fear of the consequences of saying something bad about him. Even the man that was a taxicab driver said it. Taxicab drivers are probably not making a whole lot of money and even he was against Chavez the humanitarian touted by Americans cheering for him from their safe cozy couches in America.

As I was staying in the hotel in Venezuela, there was a main T.V. Channel dedicated to Chavez and his speeches. As I flipped through the channels and always heard him talking on one of the main channels it gave me the cultish creeps. As I left Venezuela I was convinced that the opinions and voices of people that I talked with were telling me the truth that Chavez was corrupt and that the democrat American praising Chavez were wrong, but me debating with them was useless. Only time would tell and it did. In the last few years Venezuela collapsed. People are dying from hunger. People are competing with stray dogs for food out of garbage can or choose to eat pets for dinner.

Why did Chavez have a live stream T.V. going 24 hours a day? I got to hear his speeches and I have heard the same rederick over and over. Now In 2020 I am hearing the same Ol familiar speech that I was hearing over a decade ago from Venezuela but to my surprise I am hearing iit n America! I am hearing it from people like Bernie Sanders and my heart sinks and I feel like I am going back in to time when I was trying to figure out the truth 14 years ago.  It is a weird feeling when you have been through something and now I have to go through it again and I know how the ending is because I have seen it. It's like the Ghost of Chavez has come back to life, with deceptions of false hope and fake dreams.

Back to the Top Once percent. A propaganda word that the Ghost of Chavez likes to manifest. The truth is there will always be a one percent in societies. The dream of wiping the once percent will not happen, and especially in a Socialist society. It is because there will always be the ruling class. Whether it is wealthy Americans or the ruling government in the Socialist society. In Venezuela for example. Chavez made the wealthy and middle class dirt poor, making everything fair in his eyes. Yet he was living like a king in luxury. You see these dictators and their top officials become the new One Percent. They get the finest wine and host lavish meals in their private jets with celebrities while you have been bamboozled into thinking that the one percent has been eliminated. It up to you now to choose which one percent you want around.

I am sorry but I see the writing on the wall now just like I did in 2005. I didn't change anyone's views back then and I don't expect to it now so maybe there is no pupose in writing this then a way for me to vent. Only time will tell you will see.  Bernie Sanders or any other Socialist can not deliver you a utopia. The good news is that there is a future utopia that will happen in the future called the Millinilum kingdom that will regin for a thousand years. To learn more about it, you can read about it in the bible. Where finally it will be the peacful society that we all desire.  That is where I am putting my hope in.
