THE STRANGE WOMAN
I live in Wisconsin and the State Fair has just came to our town this week, There is also a circus show at the fair. Back in the 90's there was still Freak side shows at the circus. You could see the bearded lady, the lizard man and so on. Come with me as we enter into into this Freak side show to learn about the Strange Woman mentioned in the bible.
Come one! Come All! ladies and gentleman, boys and girls! We have seen how the Lobster boy juggles now we are on to see the Strange lady of the night! We walk through a dark corridor and there seems to area set up to look like a little house and a woman is sitting in there next to a vanity. She greets us warmly. Welcome! I am so glad you came, I have been looking for you diligently you on the streets and couldn't find you. I am so glad you finally decided to come, she said with a wink and a smile. She was drinking from a tall goblet. On the goblet it had the words lust on it. She offered some of the drink to us. She got some on her lips so she wiped her mouth and giggled. Her house smelled delightful! It smelled like Cinnamon, aloes and myrrh. Her bed was in the corner had a beautiful Quilt on it. She puts on some soft Spanish guitar music that sounds very soothing and delightful. As she looks in the vanity mirror brushing her hair, we look around her room. On her vanity table was a bulletin pamphlet of the church she attended. She saw me look at the pamphlet and said, I was looking for you because I wanted you to come to church with me today. I gave my peace offering today at church and I wanted you to enjoy this special time with me. The service was so good today and I feel so blessed by it! Would you like to dance? She starts twirling to the music with her her long dress, yet it is still very seductive. You look so handsome today! Come join me dance! I ignore her and look around the room a bit. I see a shelf adorned with jars of honey all neat in a long row. I also see A a book titled, " The art of Seduction" on her desk and also some astrology books. Then next to these books is a little black book opened with names she had written, mostly men names but there was a couple of female names in there. Some crossed out. Then on the shelf i saw the same black books, Hundreds of them. In these books are written the names of people she has destroyed their lives. She was having so much fun dancing and then she tripped on one of her tall stilettos. She looked a bit woozy and drunk from the red sparkling drink she was drinking from. I am lost in this word when the circus man shouts, Watch the display of this wondrous lady! She does another dance, almost like a fast jig and all eyes are on her to see her perform her act! We see her from behind dancing more and more fast then suddenly she turns around with a big smile and and Pulls off her face! Her face underneath looks cruel and wicked.Her eyes look like black holes. She had gobs of yellow stuff dripping from her mouth that the circus master said was honey. She laughs loudly and and almost choked on the honey coming from her mouth. The little children scream and want to get out of there.The crowd rushes off to leave her scene. As we see her other face on the floor, half smooshed. Out the back of makeshift house is a cemetery with thousands and thousands of gravestones. People she has led to the grave and to hell. We have had enough of the this freak show and are on to get some Cotton candy!
I wish this woman could really be locked up in some freakshow circus but that is not the case. She is alive and well in our schools, churches, workplace etc... I had fun with this circus story but the reality is this is no fantasy and no joke. There will be many different types of people you will meet in your life. There are people you will meet that will be supportive of you and bring joy to your life. There will be people that you see a lot at work and will become acquaintances and not bring a big impact you. There also could people on your path that are toxic. There are many different types of these toxic people. Today I will be discussing about one particular type that is so bad that is not even on the toxic list because of the deplorable behavior.
This person is, "The Strange Woman". You have probably already met ger several times in your life. I have personally met her several times disguised in different forms. Ultimately she is a Spirit that has manifested these "strange women". I met these women put didn't have a label for them until I read about it in the bible. Some verses that describe the strange women's characteristics are mentioned in Proverbs 5;3-23, Proverbs 2;16-22. Proverbs 7. Most versions of the bible call this woman the, adulterous woman, but in the King James Version she is called the Strange woman and that really resonates with me better.
I will describe some of the characteristics this woman has so you can get a better idea of who this woman is. I encourage you to read the verses above to get a full understand of who this woman is. She is a flatterer. In Proverbs it says her lips are drip honey and her speech is smoother then oil. I have seen this with the strange woman that were in my life in the past. They become your friend and in order to be manipulative and get what they want and to keep you as a friend they use flattering words. Always complimenting you and pretending like they have your back. These words are not sincere because they only care about them selves and what they are out to get. These use their buttery lips to seduce men to achieve the gains they want. They can seem so sweet and charismatic that you can be so blinded to their true motives. This is why it is important to have a strong identity in Christ so that you will not be lead astray to others complimenting you and making you feel good with their words that you want to follow them and be entrapped by them. That is their bait and if you are already full in Christ and know that you are a Child of God you won't be so desperate to bit on that.
The fashion sense of this woman is sleazy. In proverbs 7 its says she is dressed like a prostitute with crafty intent. Her agenda of he day is sexual seduction. She knows exactly how to dress, what to say to seduce in her crafty ways. I hate that word "crafty". The devil was described in Genesis as being crafty. When you are deciding on what people you should let in your life. This is not a trait you want that person to have. They are sneaky and often have ulterior motives and they are usually have schemes up their sleeves. They are very subtle, that's why it very important to pray about about any new friendship that comes along your path. They are the type to pretend to be your best friend and then behind your back steal your man and eat of that sin and then wipe their mouths and said I did nothing wrong. They have no guilt. No convicting morals because they do even know they are doing wrong.
The Strange woman does not know that she is doing anything wrong because she is a stranger to God and a stranger to the bible. That is why Believers should not be unequally yolked with non believers. That is in marriage and even in friendships. The evil spirit in these woman have brought many strong men down. Samson was ensnared by theses woman. The downfall of Solomon was brought on by him marrying strange woman. God forbids marrying and becoming one with these woman because they will entice you do follow others Gods then and lead you astray.
Once she has even remotely entered your life she will be relentless in seeking you out. It says in Proverbs she was looking in the streets for a simple young man and she was diligently seeking him out. In Proverbs 23:28 it says, Like bandid she lies in wait, and multiplies the unfaithful among men. You don't want to be on her radar because she your going to be on her radar like the Terminator and shes not going to give up easily.
What she wants to gain we may never know. Maybe it's your wealth. In proverbs 5;7-14 It says,
Now then, my sons, listen to me; do not turn aside from what I say. Keep a path far from her, do not go near the door of her house, lest you give your best to others and your years to the one who is cruel, lest strangers feast on your wealth and your toil enrich another's man house At the end of your life you will groan, and when your flesh and body are spent. You will say, How I hated discipline!How my heart spurned correction! I would not obey my teachers or listen to my instructors. I have come to the brink of utter ruin in the midst of the whole assembly." Your wealth and paychecks are going to enhance "another man's" home,"another man's" children. Why bot focus on your own wife and your own children? Enriching their lives instead of a strangers? Drink from your own fountain and enjoy your own wife.
She is loud and stubborn and doesn't like to be home often. She likes being on the streets, in the clubs, anything but spending time at home. She may even be at church and be "religious". Religion is the spirit of a adulteress, Religion is not loving God with your whole heart it is how the religious pharisees killed Jesus. Religion is a trap to follow rules and try to act to good enough to earn your way to heaven. Jesus died for our salvation. We don't need religion we just need to believe in him in our heart and confess that he is Lord. The strange woman is a symbol of these false religions that have their own manufactured so called bibles and follow the teachings of men. They feel like they are accomplishing something by being religious. That's why we always need to go to the source of the word of God and not to the head teachings of these men that are leaders of these religions that have distorted the word of God. When you read those books and attend those churches you are once again being made one with the Strange Woman. She is enticing you with her teachings that subtly distort the word
This Strange woman is adulteress and very destructive. She leads astray the young men and old with her flattery. He feels like he something around her. All her flattery and seductive words are a lie. You have been bamboozled sir. You conceive sin with her and shes gives birth to sin. Shes is a 100 times worse then Hurricane Katrina. She destroys the lives of many families. Breaking up families and destroying many lives in her lifetime. She is driven by a evil spirit. A spirit that wants to separate you from God. Pray about new relationships that come in to your life because even with these characteristics mentioned she is very subtle and you may not be able to see these right away. Keep looking for the fruit of the spirit and pray that you will be able to spot false fruit, This is how Eve got trapped in the first place. Pray for the discerning of Spirits. If you think you are this woman and want to change let the Blood of Christ transform you and allow him to give you a new life by believing in him, He died for your sins, he will make you as white as snow and forgive all your trespasses. There is another way to live and instead of being a strange woman be transformed into being a Virtuous woman. Let us not be this creepy Strange Woman that tears households down but let us build up our homes and the lives of others. There is another woman in Proverbs that is the opposite of the Strange woman. She is the Virtuosos women. She is highly favored and blessed. She is a princess and a daughter of the thing. She doesn't need to scheme because she knows who she is and that her identity is rooted in the love of Christ. Let us throw of the face of deception and cloth ourselves in Love. Let the lady of wisdom shout out and overpower the strange women. Let us be motivated in the LOVE of Jesus Christ.
